immunoglobulin Therapy (IVIg/SCIg)
For patients with Immunodeficiency diseases, immune globulin therapy, commonly referred to as IVIg or SCIg therapy, may be needed to deliver plasma antibodies directly into the bloodstream. This infusion is necessary for building or maintaining a patient’s weakened immune system with conditions such as Primary Immune Deficiency (PID), inflammatory Myasthenia Gravis (MG), and Polyneuropathy.
There are many therapies available for a wide range of conditions which may be delivered either intravenously (IV) or subcutaneous (SCIg). Among the therapies we offer are GAMMAGARD® and Gamunex-C infusion Therapy, and, HyQvia and Hizentra subcutaneous therapy. Health Care Medical Infusion Specialties provides infusion therapy for self-administration in the home, or at our Infusion Specialty Suites located conveniently in Ridgeland.
The ambulatory pumps and IV components we supply are designed for ease of use and portability. Whether pediatric patients or adults, our goal is to provide equipment and a process that allows for maximum flexibility.
Our pharmacist, nurses, and therapists will assist you from the point of discharge at the hospital and throughout the entire course of treatment.
